Erin found our iExplore Australia Gold trip and reached out to one of our travel sales representatives through iExplore.com. In a matter of a few weeks Jordana was able to create a custom itinerary for Erin that resulted in a trip of a lifetime. We wanted to share Erin's feedback with you.

Hi Jordana-

A very big thank you to you for everything you did for us.  The trip was incredibly, indescribably amazing! We loved every minute of it.

Your arrangements were absolutely flawless and it was the easiest most stress-free trip I have ever taken.

We loved the car service and were surprised at how much easier it was to arrive at the airport and have someone waiting there for us who knew who we were and where we were going and we didn't have to think for a second about how to find a taxi or where the hotel was located. Throughout the whole trip every driver was on time all the tours and hotels knew us and were expecting us and there were never any hassles or questions or problems. The staff at every one of the hotels was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. You did a great job choosing the hotels.

We did deviate from the plans you made for us once, and it made us appreciate you even more. On the day we went diving on the Great Barrier Reef we saw a bar in Port Douglas overlooking the water as we were coming back in to port. Rather than taking the bus back to Palm Cove as you had arranged, we decided to go to the bar thinking we could take a taxi back to the hotel. That was a lot harder than we had imagined. There were only a couple taxis and town and they did not want to go as far as Palm Cove, so it ended up being a bit of an adventure getting back.

That was the moment we fully realized how incredibly easy everything else had been and how left to our own devices we would not have organized everything as smoothly as you did.

We loved the Barossa Valley wine tour. I'm glad you suggested it. It was a really nice way to begin our trip, even tough we ended up buying a lot of wine and carting it all over Australia with us. We also absolutely loved the Rodney Fox shark diving experience. I would highly recommend it to any of your other clients who are considering it. It was a really unique experience and with 12 passengers and 6 crew on the boat together for 4 days, a very nice way to get to know a small group of people while you have an incredible experience together. They had a very make yourselves at home attitude and in some ways it felt more like being a house guest on the boat than being paying passengers. In addition to diving with the sharks we also snorkeled with rare Australia Sea Lions, which were very cute, and got up close to New Zealand fur seals on land.

We really enjoyed Longitude 131, although I'm glad you suggested that two nights were really all we needed there, because that was exactly the right length of time. Interestingly enough, we had initially thought that Longitude 131 was very expensive, but after seeing how expensive food is there and taking advantage of all the tours, I think it might have been pretty reasonable for all it included. The experience of being out there in the desert was definitely not to be missed and we really enjoyed both the sunrise tour and the table 131, which was dinner out in the desert under the stars. It was also an incredible transition to go from Ayers Rock to Cairns and go from that red landscape to the lush green of the rainforest. We absolutely loved the Sebel Reef House when we got there. That was probably my favorite hotel. We enjoyed both the Great Barrier Reef diving and the rainforest tour. On our free days we booked a night tour spotlighting wildlife in the rainforest that was really unique and enjoyed the pool and spa at the hotel.

When we got to Brisbane the Chiffley at Lennons hotel was not as luxurious as the others, which you had told us in advance when we moved there from the Conrad Treasury, but the location was really good for us and worked out especially well because I injured my shoulder and needed a doctor and the doctor was just across the street. The trip to Australia Zoo was incredible. I am so glad that you suggested the Hire a Caddie option and that we eventually decided to do it. It was worth every penny. Our caddie, Julie, was really nice and gave us what felt like the insiders tour. Hearing her talk about her experiences at the zoo and the philosophy and care the animals get made it a much more personal experience. My only possible regret in the entire itinerary is that we probably should have planned two days at the zoo. We had the second day in Brisbane free and could have gone back, but the weather forecast was for heavy rain, so we decided not to go back, but I think we probably would have enjoyed a second day there.

Anyway, clearly I could write a whole book about how much fun we had. Thank you so much for all your help. I would absolutely book my next trip through you.

Thanks,
Erin
