Rod Stewart's famous song "We Are Sailing" gives you a pretty good impression of what to expect using yachts or sailboats to travel the world. Fortunately stormy waters and rough seas are just some of the experiences out on the great wet. Encounters with wildlife, amazing scenery and gorgeous marine environments are some of the others.

You don't need either experience or expertise to join this luxury world and you could soon be sitting amongst the champagne sippers in the Cannes harbor, marvelling at bald eagles off your stern in Canada or diving in the warm waters of the Caribbean.
