Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Antigua
Arrive in Antigua at any time.

Day 2-10 Guatemala
Our exploration of the highlands begins with a visit to the old colonial capital of Antigua. Travel through volcanic mountains to breathtaking Lake Atitlán, and visit the colourful highland towns of the area, such as Panajachel and Chichicastenango. Next leave the highlands behind and stop in Río Dulce, the gateway to the Guatemala's Caribbean Coast. Deep in the Guatemalan jungle lies Tikal, the largest excavated Mayan ruin site in the Americas. Nestled in the jungle, Tikal is a spiritual area with impressive temples. Finally, we have a little time to visit the colourful town of Flores on the shore of Lake Petén Itzá.

Day 11-14 Belize
The Mountain Pine Ridge area provides us with several fascinating options for exploring the jungle wilds of Belize. Caye Caulker is known for its famous barrier reef and a laid-back Caribbean atmosphere, making it a top snorkelling and diving spot.

Day 15-30 Mexico
Heading north, leaving Belize and crossing the border into Mexico, explore the famous Yucatán towns of Mérida, Cancún and Playa del Carmen, home of some of the best beaches in Mexico. Continue to the Mayan site of Palenque and the highland gem of San Cristóbal in Chiapas and then turn north to Oaxaca for handicraft markets and the impressive Zapotec ruins of Monte Albán. Next, we visit Puebla, where the street life will more than fill your days and nights, and finally finish in the world's largest metropolitan area, Mexico City, and explore several not-to-be missed art and ancient artifact museums.

Day 31 Depart Mexico City
