Day 1 Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing at any time.
Day 2-4 Beijing
From the vast expanses of Tiananmen Square to the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China, Beijing is a city of incredible sights. Take a tour through the hundreds of hutongs, or laneways, to get a feel for what Beijing was like in the past.
Day 5-6 Xi'an
March among one of China's greatest archaeological treasures - the Terracotta Warriors - and dine on some of the best market food in the country. This ancient capital is a fascinating mix of traditional and modern worlds.
Day 7-8 Chengdu
Drop in to the Panda Breeding Sanctuary, and get up close with these cute animals. Marvel at the temples on Emei Mountain, including the Giant Buddha of Leshan, which stands at over 70 metres tall!
Day 9 Leshan and Mount Emei
Walk around the 71 metre high stone statue of Buddha before relaxing on Mount Emei, one of four sacred Buddhist mountains in China.
Day 10-12 Yangshuo
Surrounded by spectacular limestone karst hills and green paddy fields, Yangshuo is your picture perfect base for exploring the peaks, rivers, caves and outlying villages of Guilin.
Day 13 Beijing
Return to Beijing for some last minute shopping and sightseeing before our farewell dinner.
