iExplore Croatia Experience(Trip #62621)

Tour Overview

Don't tell anyone, but Croatia has become Europe's hot new destination. After slumbering in the shadow of the former Yugoslavia for decades, the country burst onto the scene in 1991, billing itself as "the Mediterranean as it used to be".

Along its coastline the glistening sea winds around rocky coves, lapping at the shores of pine-fringed beaches. Ports bustle with life. Dalmatian cities throb with nightlife amid ancient Roman ruins. Then there's the magical city of Dubrovnik, adorned with Renaissance carvings and marble paved streets.

Visit Dubrovnik, the crown jewel of Croatia, with it's well preserved historic center contained within 13th century city walls, and a stunning location overlooking the Adriatic.

See Split, the second largest city in Croatia, the heart of the Dalmatian Coast.

Tour Zagreb, Croatia's economic, cultural and administrative heart.

Enjoy a full day excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Plitvice Lakes and visit the 300 year old settlement of Rastoke.

It all adds up to a relaxed, easy going tour that offers an unparalleled wealth of travel opportunities. But, please, try and keep it a secret!
