Depart early morning for a game drive just as the dawn sunlight begins to stir the sleeping lions, zebras, and giraffes. Stop for a delicious lunch mid-day, then it's back out for an afternoon drive. This is when the elephants, wildebeest, and hippos are most visible as they take to watering holes to cool off. Return to your rooms and sip a sundowner on your private verandah as inky darkness washes over the landscape and the night sounds of Africa come alive. Holiday Inn Nairobi Day 02: Sweetwaters Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive north to Nanyuki to Ol Pejeta Ranch where you will arrive at your next camp, Sweetwaters Tented Camp, in time for lunch. Sweetwaters Nature Santuary and Sweetwaters Camp lie in the heart of the 24,400 acre Sweetwater Game Reserve with magnificient views across the plains to the snow capped mountain peaks of Mount Kenya. Activities include a half-day game drive which includes the Chimpanzee Santuary. Additional activities (extra cost) are night game drives, camel riding, horse riding and nature walks.

Sweetwaters Tented Camp Day 03 & 04: Samburu National Park
After breakfast, drive further north to Samburu Game Reserve where the Samburu Serena Lodge will be your home for the next two nights. Situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the arid heart of Samburu National Reserve, Samburu Serena looks out over riverbanks where herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra come daily to drink together with the rarer 'northern species' of reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx and long-necked gerenuk antelope. Enjoy stirring early morning game drives, walking safaris with skilled Samburu guides, sedate camel rides, and raft trips when the river is high.

Samburu Serena Lodge Day 05 - Mount Kenya
After breakfast, drive south to Nanyuki to Mt. Kenya Safari Club. One of Kenya’s best-known properties, Mount Kenya Safari Club is steeped in colonial history, with a past as colorful as its magnificent gardens. Originally built as a dream home by a wealthy New Yorker for her young French aviator husband, it quickly became a main focal point for the ‘Happy Valley’ set of the 1930s. In 1959 William Holden and two friends turned it into one of the most exclusive clubs in the world with founding members including Sir Winston Churchill, Lord Louis Mountbatten, Robert Ruark, Lyndon Johnson, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. Activities to enjoy at the Club include – horseback riding, golf, trout fishing, tennis, visiting the adjacent wildlife sanctuary (base for the successful breeding program of endangered bongo antelope), or just walking in the beautiful grounds. For those seeking total repose there is a heated swimming pool and a health and beauty center.

Mount Kenya Safari Club Day 06 & 07: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Morning transfer to Nanyuki airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. A representative from Kichwa Tembo Tented Safari Camp will meet you for your short 4x4 game drive to camp. Renowned as Kenya’s best-loved safari lodge, Kichwa Tembo Tented Safari Camp nestles below the Oloololo Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, affording spectacular views of the Masai Mara’s game-filled plains. Activities include game drives. A ballooning safari or day trip to Lake Victoria’s Mfangano Island can be arranged at an additional cost.

Kichwa Tembo Safari Camp Day 08: Nairobi - Depart
After breakfast transfer to Masai Mara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax in your dayroom. Enjoy lunch and dinner (meals for your own account) before your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
