Honduras is an emerging destination. It is a small country with a lot to offer in the areas of Maya
archaeology, nature, wildlife and beaches. It offers:

Honduras can be purely a beach relaxation holiday / dive holiday or it can be a cultural adventure with
beach time. Generally anyone with an interest in the following areas would probably enjoy Honduras.
TROPICAL BEACHES: The Bay islands offer interesting beach destinations.
DIVING / SNORKEL: Honduras is a world famous dive destination and sees the whale shark migration
THE MAYA WORLD: Archaeological Site of the Ancient Maya at Copan
CULTURES: Maya & Garifuna Cultures. Spanish influence. Garifuna History.
WILDLIFE: Diverse wildlife birds, monkeys, and marine life including whale sharks (in season)
ACTIVITIES: Biking, Hiking, Kayaking, Rafting, Trekking, Horse Riding, Diving, Snorkeling, Sailing
Honduras is an emerging destination in terms of infrastructure and sophistication. This is often what makes it delightful but may mean that it is not suitable for some clients
Honduras can be a cultural exploration trip (Spending a few nights in each place) or it can be a resort holiday (if clients just stay in a resort on Roatan)
Things can go wrong its a third world, developing country where tourism is also a developing industry. We are your tour operator on site are there to make sure things go as smoothly as possible and to help you with any problems but guests need to be aware that things can possibly go wrong
There are some dirt roads around the islands of Roatan & Uitla and also inland around Copan and the Pico Bonito area. Otherwise roads are asphalt but not always well maintained & driving of locals can be erratic
Even in luxury hotels service is not always 100%. Honduras is a new tourist destination & service may not up to the standard of the top hotels in some countries
English may not be spoken everywhere although on the island of Roatan and the La Ceiba and Tela areas most people speak English
