PucónCity/Region: The Lake District
Pucón is the focus of the Lake Districts' adventure tourism industry and is a growing Mecca for hikers, kayakers, white-water rafters, windsurfers and mountain bikers. A pretty resort town situated on Lake Villarica with the volcano a looming backdrop, it is a place for all interests. Less strenuous activities include fishing, soaking up the sun on the lakeshore or soaking in the nearby hot springs.
